Mineral insulated (MI) thermocouples offer an extremely versatile, cost effective system capable of working under extreme conditions. MI cable conductors are protected from oxidation, and corrosive environmental conditions so the EMF characteristics remain very stable.

FEATURES

  • MI cable can be bent and formed without adversely affecting its performance.

  • The good thermal conductivity of the mineral insulation in MI cables allows faster response to thermal changes.

  • MI seamless metal sheaths are impervious to liquids and gases. They can withstand extremely high external pressure.

  • 3.00mm MI has continuous rating up to 1070oC, 4.5 mm and 6 mm continuous rating up to 1150oC.
