Ruggedized temperature probes have an extra thick and robust stem construction which enables their use in applications where a standard probe might not survive. Rather than being manufactured out of stainless steel tube, the ruggedized probe stem is machined out of solid stainless steel stock, and drilled out internally to accommodate the sensor.

This ruggedized finish can be manufactured in any of our standard sanitary probe layouts, such as running nut (pictured), RJT or Triclover.
