Temperature Probes for Plastic Manufacturing Details
Servotech manufactures several temperature sensors to support the plastics industry; plastic extrusion and moulding processes. Below are the different configurations, bayonet, bolt and lug temperature sensors. These probes are available in Thermocouple and RTD variants depending on your requirements.
Bayonet Style Temperature Probe
Available in both Thermocouple and RTD arrangements.
Bayonet style probes are designed for quick and secure attachment to compatible adaptors.

Bolt Style Temperature Probe
Available in both thermocouple and RTD arrangements.
Bolt type thermocouples are designed to use anywhere a suitable bolt hole is available. Typical applications include injection moulding nozzles, plastic extruders, engine temperature, surface temperature.
Quick installation and replacement may be required.
Options:
- Fitting: Bolt M6, M8, ¼” Thread
- Lead: Glass Fibre, SS Over Braid
Washer/Lug Style Temperature Probe
Available in both thermocouple and RTD arrangements.
Washer/lug-style thermocouples are typically installed between two surfaces or objects where temperature monitoring is required. The metal disk with the thermocouple junction is placed in direct contact with the object or surface whose temperature needs to be measured.
