Mineral insulated (MI) thermocouples offer an extremely versatile, cost-effective system capable of working under extreme conditions. MI cable conductors are protected from oxidation, and corrosive environmental conditions so the EMF characteristics remain very stable.

- MI cable can be bent and formed without adversely affecting its performance.
- The good thermal conductivity of the mineral insulation in MI cables allows faster response to thermal changes.
- MI seamless metal sheaths are impervious to liquids and gases. They can withstand extremely high external pressure.
- 3.00mm MI has continuous rating up to 1070 Deg Cel, 4.5 mm and 6 mm continuous rating up to 1150 Deg Cel.
